Modern Dwella (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates moderndwella.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our store runs on Shopify, which processes information on our behalf when you browse and check out.

Contact details — name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number.
Order information — the items you view, add to cart, and purchase, plus returns and exchanges.
Payment information — handled by Shopify Payments and the payment providers you choose. We never see or store your full card number.
Device and usage information — IP address, browser, device type, and how you move through the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Messages you send us — anything you include when you contact us.

Who we share it with
The parties involved in running the store
Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders and payments.
Our fulfilment partners, who receive the name and shipping address needed to deliver your order — and nothing more.
Shipping carriers.
Google, for analytics (Google Analytics 4) and advertising measurement (Google Ads).
Anyone we are legally required to disclose to.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Advertising and analytics
Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads
We use Google Analytics 4 and the Google Ads tag to understand traffic and measure advertising. These set cookies and may be used for personalised advertising. You can opt out of Google’s advertising personalisation at adssettings.google.com, and browser-level Global Privacy Control signals are honoured where applicable law requires it.

What cookies we set
We use cookies that are necessary for the cart and checkout to function, plus analytics and advertising cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, but the cart and checkout may stop working correctly if you block the necessary ones.
How long we keep it
Retention
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and warranty purposes — generally seven years. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained on Google’s default schedule.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion and opt-out
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise any of these, email hello@moderndwella.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
Not intended for under-16s
The site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
International visitors
We process information in the United States
We are based in the United States and process information there. If you are visiting from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
Changes
The posted version applies
We may update this policy. The version posted on this page is the one that applies, and we will update the “Last updated” date when we change it.
